Since 2004, Liberty Movement Ministry has been a beacon of hope for families in need across West Palm Beach, Florida. Founded by Astley Rhoden, our non-profit organization and food pantry has dedicated itself to providing essential resources, nutritious food, and spiritual support to families facing food insecurity and financial hardships. We believe that access to nutritious food is not just a necessity—it’s a God-given right.
At Liberty Movement Ministry, our mission is simple: to fight hunger and feed hope. Through our ministry, food distribution, and essential resources, we respond to the urgent needs of our community, ensuring that no one goes hungry, especially the most vulnerable among us—our children. With the sustaining grace of God, we equip families to thrive, offering them the support they need to overcome adversity.
We provide year-round support to families in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County through a variety of programs designed to uplift and nourish the community:
Food Distribution: Our pantry collects, stores, and distributes fresh produce, dairy, proteins, and other nutritious foods to families in need.
Holiday Drives: Each year, we host an Annual Turkey Drive, distributing hundreds of turkeys to families for Thanksgiving. Our Toys For Christmas Giveaway brings joy to children during the holiday season.
Back-to-School Support: Through our Back-to-School Supply Drive, we provide essential school supplies to students, empowering them to return to school ready to learn and succeed.
